Christopher Booker, a senior undergraduate student in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME), received a $5,000 scholarship from the Aero Club of Southern California.  The awards gala took place Saturday, September 23, at the famed Proud Bird restaurant near LAX.  Booker is the third USC student in the last six years to win the award (following Jason Silverman 2014, Warren Tichenor 2012). He is the chief engineer of the USC AeroDesign Team, a drumline squad leader for the Trojan Marching Band and a two-time intern at Boeing.
