Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME) students were led on a tour of SpaceX headquarters by AME alumnus and SpaceX development test director Chris Hansen (B.S. ’02, M.S. ’03). Hansen has been with SpaceX since its inception, working on most of the systems and vehicles they produce.
The group, accompanied by AME lecturer John McArthur and instructional lab technician Rodney Yates, visited the Falcon and Dragon Rocket assembly plant where they learned about the different assembly stages.
