AME PhD student Orazio Pinti has been selected as a 2022 Vertical Flight Foundation (VFF) Scholarship recipient, ranking first as a PhD applicant. VFF scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating an interest in pursuing engineering careers in vertical flight technology. The award will presented in May at the Annual Vertical Flight Society Forum in Dallas.
Pinti works under the supervision of Professor Assad Oberai. His current research is focused on the development of multi-fidelity modeling techniques, with application to vertical flight
