Mission
To promote and enhance the technical competency and professional well-being of our members, and through quality programs and activities in mechanical engineering, better enable its practitioners to contribute to the well-being of humankind.
USC mechanical engineers have the resources to be academically competent, so the student ASME chapter aims to cultivate networking, provide contacts to industry, promote technical competency, and enhance their professionalism. It is a Mecca for engineers to learn and get excited about the field of Mechanical Engineering.

The official website for ASME International is www.asme.org. Membership is only $25 per year for students. If you join anywhere from January 1 to May 31, 2004, the pro-rated fee is only $12.
