Emeritus Professor Terence Langdon Receives Oleg D. Sherby Award

Terence Langdon, professor emeritus of aerospace and mechanical engineering and chemical engineering and materials science, was selected by The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) as the recipient of their inaugural Oleg D. Sherby Award. The award recognizes Langdon’s significant contributions to the understanding of the behavior of materials at high temperatures. He will be presented the award on March 14, 2018 during the 147th TMS Annual Meeting.
