Undergraduate Student Resources

Academic Advisement

Academic advisors are here to help students plan their academic and career goals. They will provide students with information about degree requirements, refer students to campus resources, and clarify questions about academic policies or procedures.

Students will meet with an academic advisor each semester prior to registering for classes to discuss their course plan and schedule. Advisement is required each semester for all Viterbi undergraduate students to review their course plans and lift their mandatory advisement hold.

Students are advised by AME department advisors located in OHE 500C, 500D, & 500F.

Current USC students with declared majors outside of Viterbi will be advised by Pre-Engineering advisors if they are interested in changing their major to this department. See more information on their website or email viterbi.studentservices@usc.edu to make an appointment.

AME majors (AE, ME, MEPE):

AME students are advised by AME Departmental Advisors. Students can make an appointment through Calendly. Email ameugrad@usc.edu or your AME academic advisor to receive the Calendly link.
