A new article has been published about USC graduate in astronautical engineering, Brooke Rios! Brooke credits her success to the guidance and mentorship of many for her accomplishments. Through the support of her professors, Brooke took on new challenges such as designing a 4-reaction wheel system for a CubeSat. She also contributed to the MAVERIC CubeSat project at the USC Space Engineering Research Center (which provided hands-on experience). Being mentored by various industry professionals allowed Brooke to expand her network. This led to an easier time navigating her career decisions. Starting her career as a software engineer a McMaster-Carr in Chicago and hopes to start her own company focusing on using technology for societal benefit, Brooke exemplifies the transformative power of mentorship and the importance of leveraging support networks for personal and professional growth!
