Commencement Article Mention: Victoria Pinkett

A new article has been published about graduating mechanical engineer Victoria Pinkett! Victoria stands out from her colleagues with a hands-on approach and a practical mindset. From designing aerodynamic wings to securing an internship at SpaceX, she’s more than ready for real-world problem-solving! Her internship experience at SpaceX on the Starlink program was fulfilling and helped the world access the internet! Pinkett’s senior design project (analyzing wing flexibility’s impact on thrust) showcased her application of classroom concepts. Lastly, her involvement with Viterbi Makers and leadership experience in organizations like NSBE honed her teamwork and communication skills. As a Viterbi Student Ambassador, she inspired prospective students to choose USC. Now, she’s set to join Pratt & Whitney’s engineering development program with long-term aspirations in human spaceflight initiatives!
